July 10 — Psalm 126:3
The LORD did indeed accomplish great things for us. We were happy.

Peterson paraphrases this verse: “GOD was wonderful to us; we are one happy people” (MSG). The New Living Bible paraphrases the text: “Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!” “And Mary says, ‘My soul exalts the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. For He has had regard for the humble state of His bondslave; For behold, from this time on all generations will count me blessed. For the Mighty One has done great things for me; And holy is His name” (Luke 1:46-49 NASB). David says: “For the sake of your word and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made it known to your servant. How great you are, O Sovereign LORD!
